Domain Hosting

Your domain name is hosted on our DNS servers. DNS (Domain Name System) is the indexing service used throughout the Internet. It translates the 'friendly' name (eg www.influentialcomputers.com) that you key in the address bar of your browser into an IP Address, which is in turn used to identify and reach the server computer that holds your requested Internet site.

Alternatively, you can have your domain name hosted on a DNS server elsewhere, and ask that service provider to point the name at your hosting account space here.
